About Vitamin E
Vitamin E is essential to human nutrition because
it helps to convey oxygen to the heart and the
other muscle groups in the body. Other key things
to know about Vitamin E:
- It prevents unstable molecules known as free
radicals from damaging cells and tissue
- It accelerates wound healing - in fact you
can break open oil-based E capsules and apply
the oil directly to healing wounds to reduce
the formation of scarring!
- It protects your lung tissue from inhaled pollutants
- It aids in the functioning of your immune system,
your endocrine system, and your sex glands
- It improves blood circulation
- And it promotes normal blood clotting
While Vitamin E is present in many foods you eat, most people
don't get nearly enough in their systems. The result can
be premature aging of the skin and connective tissues,
increased risk of cancers and other ailments, and a
general lack of healthy metabolism. We recommend that
you take a Vitamin E capsule once daily, and pick one
that avoids sugar, starches, coloring, flavoring, or
preservatives (you sure don't need more of those
in your system!).
